It's true... weather and temperature are a factor you absolutely can't pick when you are planning your vacation out months in advance. However, they are definitely something you can prepare for no matter what!
This might sound crazy, but I always throw my rain coat into my suitcase when I'm headed to the parks. Here's the thing... just because there's bad weather doesn't mean it has to be a bad day! We are dressing for success folks!!! That means making sure you can enjoy your hard earned vacation even when the weather isn't perfect.
Many attractions in Disney and Universal parks are indoors. While there are definitely lots of outdoor attractions too, you can keep yourself busy inside for quite some time. Depending on the severity of the weather, some outdoor rides may stay open as well. This is why having proper gear can make or break your trip. Zipping through Cars is a lot less fun when you're getting soaked in your t shirt!!
You'll hear me say it again and again... less people in the parks = more fun. Bad weather steers away lots of people and that is a benefit for you! Annual pass holders will stay away and leave plenty of space for you to get the most out of your day, rain or shine.
If you aren't into packing a rain coat, don't worry. They sell ponchos and rain coats at World of Disney and other shops nearby. The only thing you can't buy is a good attitude. ;) You decide when you wake up and see that rain what kind of day it will be! The choice is yours.
